Samsung Gloria Tablet PC with Sliding Keyboard

Samsung Gloria is a new tablet that the South Korean manufacturer is preparing for 2011. The recipe ingredients are very simple: Take a Samsung Galaxy Tab, lengthen the leading diagonal screen from 7 to 10 inches, replace the Android operating system with Microsoft Windows 7 and you've all new Samsung Gloria Tablet PC. There is still one of the most interesting additions: the physical QWERTY sliding keyboard, a smile to the claimant for non-tactile keyboard to type with greater speed
Samsung Gloria could really make happy other people watching with interest to the tablet, but still prefer the physical buttons with the QWERTY keyboard. In fact, Samsung Gloria define a tablet itself is perhaps a bit risky, precisely because of the sliding keyboard, but it could open a new branch of industry.

With a larger screen than the Samsung Galaxy Tab, 10-inch diagonal touchscreen and Windows 7 operating system that goes well with the multitouch screen, the new Samsung Gloria could be presented soon with a sheet which should include HD Camcorder back and front for video chatting, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. Samsung AnyCall Haptic

Samsung is jumping in the market joining the ranks of LG, Apple and others who have put out portable phones featuring a touchscreen interface with the new AnyCall Haptic SCH - W420 portable phone. Touchscreens have been all the rage for the past year or so, and already present are enough that companies have to come out with a quantity of single features to help one stand out from the extra.
To the AnyCall Haptic, Samsung has added a quantity of vibrating tangible feedback to the touchscreen. In fact, they’ve added 22 unlike types of feedback to your fingers from the screen, depending on what you’re doing with the phone such as dialing a number, poignant objects around or spinning a dial. Whether or not your fingers are able to distinguish between 22 unlike type of vibrations is another story, but at slightest a quantity of feedback helps quite a bit if you’ve each tried to quickly dial a number on a flat touchscreen.
In case you were wondering, the name ‘ Haptic ‘ is actually resultant from a Greek word which means “ pertaining to touch ”. The AnyCall Haptic phone is set to launch in South Korea only at this point, but could possibly make its way stateside later on, but hopefully for a supplementary logical price. South Korea will see it next month with a price tag equal of around $ 800. It also features 3. 2 - inch widescreen, 2 - megapixel camera, Internet browser, Bluetooth and a global digital TV tuner.

Document Extractor - A Screen with Built-In Printer

Document Extractor is a screen that, in addition to the computer, also incorporates a printer and a scanner. When we see a document on the screen and we want to print, the device loads a sheet on the back and produce a print to be extracted from the bottom. To create it in the real world should miniaturize all the components of a printer including toner cartridge. Probably the idea is not so easily achieved.

This document Extractor monitor concept is something that many people love to have Magellan RoadMate 2035, regardless of whether they are in a home or office. This monitor supports multi-touch input, allowing the user to easily select a portion of the display for printing – prints that churned out at the bottom of a will monitor itself because it has a built-in printer.

You can print this fantasy ditch screen capturing programs, and only with your fingers to select what you want. Apart from pressure, the device is capable of scanning in documents on the lower half of the screen like on cars dvd. You need only on paper in feed from the ground and you’ll see, it appears like magic on your screen, go almost as if the physical paper or discount software in your monitor.

Kodak Slice

Kodak pretty much started the point and shoot camera market, but they’ve been behind for a while as far as innovation goes. In fact, this is pretty much an attempt to catch up with Nikon, Canon, and the other manufacturers who are using a touchscreen interface.

The cutely named Slice is a seemingly typical P&S camera, albeit with a 14MP sensor and the previously mentioned touchscreen interface. It’ll shoot 720p 30 FPS video, features image stabilization and a lithium ion battery, just like the other cameras in this market segment. Kodak really isn’t doing anything new with the Slice, however I will have to admit I do like the look of the little guy. The price may be a bit of a problem though, it’s going to MSRP for $350 which might be a bit steep for the casual purchaser. Expect to see the Kodak Slice at your favorite electronics retailer sometime in April 2010.

From the press release:

iPhone DSLR

Here's a first: an iPhone DSLR rig that "will fit an iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 along with a complementing, full-size Canon EF lens." It's basically a modified OWLE accessory. No word yet on pricing or availability

Sick of your iPhone's puny lens? Then it's time for a (somewhat unwieldy) upgrade.

This "iPhone DSLR prototype" is a 1.1lb, solid piece of anodized billet aluminum (that looks to be a modified Owle). It will fit an iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 along with a complementing, full-size Canon EF lens. And since Canon converter mounts are widely available for most lens brands, I'm guessing this rig could fit pretty much any lens you tossed at it with some tweaking.

Is this a real DSLR? Of course not. As many angry camera snobs have pointed out, there's no internal mirror system to control light hitting the iPhone's camera sensor. But could it milk the 5MP iPhone sensor for everything it's worth given access to some premium glass? Theoretically, yes.

The creator hasn't shared any sample photos yet. But it's a fun project. We'll keep an eye out. [iPhone DSLR via SlashGear]
